About the role
As the energy market is getting more complex and constant change is needed to match varying customer needs, we have decided to strengthen our Trading Services team. As a Testing Specialist, your main responsibilities are:
- Regression testing for ETRM system
- Test result analysis
- Planning test cases with system users
- Test work prioritization
- Planning test timetables
- Test process development
You will be working in the core of Fortum with a unique opportunity to be part of the European commodities market development and contribute to the success of the biggest energy trading house in Nordics. In this role, you will gain a broad understanding of Fortum’s trading processes and systems. You will cooperate with system users across trading organizations, ensuring secure processes and smooth operations. As this is a completely new role, there is a possibility to develop the role further. The position can be located in Espoo, Stockholm or Oslo.
About you
To succeed in this role you need to have strong business knowledge of the Nordic electricity derivatives market. Knowledge from other commodity derivatives markets is considered an asset. You have at least basic IT skills (SQL, Python, etc.) and are willing to gain more understanding. Eagerness to learn and work with system testing automation is a must for the role. As a person you are positive, analytical, and have good problem-solving skills. With a hands-on attitude, you take initiative and push things forward to deliver results.
You have a mathematical or statistical background with a degree in a relevant field such as economics or engineering. Fluent English is a requirement for the position, any Nordic language is considered as an advantage.
