Your day to day:
This role addresses the coordination for the modification and continuous development of IT solutions, the management of a portfolio of projects related to IT systems in Cloud, Unified Communications, Security and Connectivity (with particular attention to the architectural harmonization of IT ecosystems), with the aim of delivering in time and budget of projects requested by external clients - European operators or Vodafone Group. The role involves working with teams that offer complex solutions, whose leadership requires a delicate balance between identifying and treating business risks but also the conditions in the labour market, balancing costs and facilitating the individual development of team members to constantly deliver quality services to external customers.
With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:
- Cost estimation for the implementation effort, which involves continuous improvement of system performance and optimization of existing work methods
- Adaptation and contribution to the harmonization of hardware and software solutions based on customer requests.
- Managing the scope, development, implementation, testing and delivery of scripts, programs, integrated software solutions, design and operational requirements customized according to Enterprise customer requirements in local Vodafone and partner markets using various programming techniques, ensuring that the product corresponds to from a functional point of view and is ready for use
- Coordinates all project phases, from the evaluation of an initiative (collection of business requirements and proposal of a solution), to the implementation and testing of a project, and finally the transition of the solution to daily operations.
- The person in question ensures that the purpose and objectives delivered by the program/project are in accordance with the requirements of external clients (including budget, time and performance indicators).
- Creates and monitors the project plan, together with all interested parties - and validates it with clients and end users; it also generates the resource plan for the execution of the project, and ensures that the necessary resources are allocated
- The person in question also coordinates the people in the project team, facilitates individual development and helps them deliver at the best parameters.
- Together with the delivery teams - working as a provider of IT software and hardware solutions - evaluates the complexity of the projects from a technical point of view, the duration of implementation and the required budget. Evaluates potential alternative solutions at the client's request.
- Works with software developers and IT architects to generate technical specifications used in the release of software products used as a foundation for international launches of services and integrated software products.
With these skills, you are a great candidate:
- Detailed knowledge of the IT architecture of cloud systems, unified communications
- Experience in business analysis, as well as in development cycles
- Experience with various project delivery models
- Excellent communication skills, both in English, and Romanian
- The ability to put things together - interdependent and inter-departmental functional links
- The desire to understand the "WHY" behind the formal requirements (logical understanding).
- International experience and background in a complex business environment essential as well as ability to work across distributed team in a complex business environment
- Practical experience (at least 5 years) in a solution architect, solution designer, service designer or project manager role
- Experience in both B2B and B2C technology companies
- English (B2 or above)
- Any other foreign language an advantage.

- work experience in several roles and fields in IT infrastructure management
- Diploma in Computers / Informatics / Management / Economy / Business / Communication

- Diploma in Computers / Informatics / Management / Economy / Business / Communication
- Minimum 5 years of experience
