WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
As a Service Desk Operator, you will face several challenges in your position, among them:
- Technical Incident Resolution: You will need to resolve level 1 and 2 technical issues effectively and quickly.
- Customer support: You will deal with users of different levels of technical knowledge and you will have to communicate clearly and satisfactorily.
- Time management and prioritization: You will have to manage your time to handle multiple requests and tickets efficiently.
- Adaptation to new technologies: You will face new tools and technologies and you will have to learn and adapt to them.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
The Service Desk Operator must have an interest and background in IT, and in addition, should be knowledgeable in:
- Basic computing: understanding the fundamental concepts of computing, including hardware, software and networking.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux, know how to install them and troubleshoot basic problems.
- Office automation: Skills in the use of office software such as word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail programs.
- Networking and connectivity: Understanding basic networking concepts, network protocols, IP addresses and troubleshooting connectivity problems.
- Technical Support: Knowledge of technical support and troubleshooting techniques, both hardware and software.
- Service Desk Tools: Experience in the use of Service Desk tools, such as ticketing systems and incident monitoring.
Remember that your ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in the Service Desk field will also be valued.
