Founded in Denmark in 2017, we currently have offices in Copenhagen, London and New York - and are rapidly expanding into new markets.As a Senior Product Designer at Worksome, you work across the whole product development cycle by discovering, exploring and defining product problems and design solutions. You work in close collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure we are building the right thing in the right way.
Key responsibilities & main job tasks:
- Discovery and Research - conduct research and interviews to get deep insights on customer / user pain points and needs; synthesise pain points and help others in the team to internalise customer perspectives
- Problem space definition - work with PMs to define user problems and needs to solve and jointly turn problems into scoped product requirements and later solutions
- Solution space definition - identify opportunities to solve; create concept wireframes and prototypes; incorporate feedback into the design solutions; create process flow diagrams for flows and processes
- Product Definition - design high fidelity mockups and prototypes; conduct cross-functional team refinement and feedback; create hand-off with designs specs and thorough documentation for delivery to engineers
- Product Testing - conduct usability test and refine product to build; be available for answering questions for engineers during development and test solutions in QA and design review
What you've probably been up to lately:
- Experience in Product Design disciplines (UX, UI, Design Systems)
- Working in fast paced environments, startups or scale-ups
How you might describe yourself:
- Great attention to detail while also being able to think holistically in decision making and throughout the product development process
- Understand the fundamentals of UX product patterns and are able to incorporate these skills and know-how into the daily work
- Can argue and clearly communicate for and against design decisions while always adhering to project scopes
- Understands how to transform product requirements and user needs into tangible and testable solutions
- Always works very collaboratively and iteratively together with team members and/or stakeholders
