Remote -Customer Service and Data Manipulation [United States]


 

Small, super busy landscape and snow removal business that strives to be customer-centric and professional. This position is to provide timely, considerate, premium customer service along with detail oriented time and materials data retrieval and summarization along with potential growth into billing assistance using Quickbooks.

This position is a work from home, flexible hours position estimated at ~ 25-30 hours per week.

Seeking a customer service (via email and phone) and data manipulation specialist that must be professional in writing and speaking style on the customer service side and organized, detail oriented and comfortable working with multiple systems and databases on the data manipulation side. Proficiency in either MS Excel & Word or Google Docs & Sheets is an absolute requirement; experience with Quickbooks is ideal but secondary.

We currently use Google Sheets and Docs, MS Excel and Word, Mail Chimp, Gmail, Dropbox and Wix. (Mailer software can be altered to your organizational style/experience). Web design or social media marketing experience would be great but not required.

Specific tasks include liaison between owner and clients mostly via email, with occasional phone response upon owner request. Daily client and vendor email review, processing (add to scheduling or materials needs and/or tracking lists) and client response. Parsing of weekly time sheets from field employees to an Excel or Sheets database to then be used by billing and payroll departments. As needed interaction/question and answer sessions with owner and accounting department via phone, email or text. Upon demonstrating an understanding of the time and materials summarization process, this position may grow into assisting with billing, using Quickbooks. DOE, maintain social media presence.

A good understanding of the landscape industry would be ideal but industry, position and customer handling intricacies learning curve are expected.
